Project Cycle Management (PCM) and Logical Framework (LOGFRAME)

SOURCE:

European Commission: the method is recommended for projects funded by the Commission. PCM is merged with the so-called "Logframe approach" with the declared aim "to enhance participation and transparency and to improve orientation towards objectives".

DESCRIPTION:

PCM is an approach to project design and management, also recommended for larger-scale interventions, such as sectoral programmes. It is at the same time a collection of concepts and tools. Logframe can be used both as analytical tool, and as methodology.
